That's a very logical thing to wonder. I have found questions as simple as asking about a celebrity's birthday. These are things you could type into Google and not even click any links, just read the website summaries on the search page!

Perhaps people don't know how to Google. I'm not sure anyone ever taught me but I tend to assume people are capable of a bit more than what perhaps might be true.

Nonetheless, it IS a violation to just tell someone to Google or Wikipedia something. While it may be painfully obvious, some folks just won't be bothered. True, other things might need a more tailored response, but even a question like how to iron silk or tie a sailor's knot could be Googled very easily.

Alas, we just have to grit our teeth and try to raise our kids (future or present) to be much more conscientious.

Windows based computers are based for cheapness, rather than a mac uses less resources which means hardware and software can perform faster

yeah, it will. but you dont have to worry about activex if you use firefox. also the adblock plus extension will block ads from sites like doubleclick, but most website owners rely on ad revenue to pay for their site, so adblock plus could hurt website owners.

Windows is for business, price, and compatibility.

MACs are often mis-used, they are designed for more horse power than a standard pc. like graphic editing, adobe tools ect. pretty much why they cost like $2000

Click on the sundial icon on the top menu of Internet Explorer. If they are smart enough they will clear the history so you don't know where they are going.
