The internet has brought the world together by people and businesses communicating with each other through electronic communication and websites. Though there are common notions about web site design, there are also quite a few myths related to it that has to be cleared for better internet presence.

1. The first myth is that only good content spells a successful web site design. However, on the contrary, a successful website needs not only good content, but it has to be supported by animation and sound. This makes the website more attractive and pulls in more customer loyalty for the site.

2. Use of graphics has a connection with the second myth of web site design that states that too much of graphics helps improve the appearance of a web design. Though graphics are required in a website, too much of it only drives away surfers. This is because websites with too much of graphics take too long to load.

3. People generally think that the internet and web are the same. They are synonymous; however the web is limited to simple operations like transferring and formatting of ASCII text but is not useful for transferring large amounts of data. On the contrary, the internet can handle numerous tasks in a better manner than web browsers.

4. It is thought that web design only consists of typography, layout and HTML document. However though this is the approach for traditional movers, it is today necessary to implement the right prototyping, proper planning phase and implementation phase for a successful web site design.

5. Though previous concepts of the web revolved around developing a web page, today more importance is placed in creating dynamic websites that offer high transactional web applications like in e-commerce sites.

6. The myth of web site design being related to only browsers is true; however with the advancement of technology like .net enabled services, these services are now growing in popularity. This is because these services are not browser based and offer immense information and media access.

7. It is generally thought that the front end is important in determining web design. However though the front end tends to display the visual design of the web site design that gives an idea of the products or services offered in the website, both information and interaction design are important parts when presented through the back end.

8. A common myth is that things have been made easier because of the web. However though the introduction of frames, scripted actions, forms and embedded applets in web site designs has improved web processing recently, it has led to many problems in the user interface. This is a major challenge web designers have to put up with today.

9. People think that web applications are easy and fast to use. However whether it is an HTML document or a transactional web application, both of these applications have their own problems in developing codes and design. So it can’t be said that web applications are easy and fast to use.

10. Though many people ignore these myths, it is better to understand and avoid them for a better and more interactive web site design.

Google Inc is set to introduce on Tuesday a new Web browser designed to more other complex Web programs or quickly handle video-rich, affectation challenge to browsers designed originally to handle graphics and text.

Google officials confirmed news of long-rumored plans to offer Blogoscoped.com its entitled Google Chrome, own Web browsing software in a company blog post after it incorrectly mailed details of the plan to a Google-watching blog.

They said the new web browser introducing a public trail for the Microsoft windows users. If you want to see more details about the browser visit tinyurl.com

The Internet search leader is also working on versions for Apple Macintosh users and for Linux devices, it said.

The launch of Chrome coincides with the recent introduction by arch-rival Microsoft of its Internet Explorer 8 last month. Internet Explorer holds roughly three-quarters of the browser market, followed by Mozilla’s Firefox and Apple Inc’s Safari browsers.

Google said its engineers have borrowed from a variety of other open-source projects, including Apple’s WebKit and the Mozilla Firefox open-source browser. As a result, Google plans to make all of Chrome software code open to other developers to enhance and expand, the company said.

“We realized that the Web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser,” Google Vice President of Product Management Sindar Pichai and Engineering Director Linus Upson said in a jointly authored blog post.

BUILT FOR SPEED

They said Google Chrome promises to load pages faster and more securely, but it also includes a new engine for loading interactive JavaScript code, dubbed V8, that is designed to run the next generation of not-yet-invented Web applications.

“What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that’s what we set out to build,” Pichai and Upson wrote.

A Google spokesman declined to comment beyond the blog post.

Microsoft said the recently upgraded version 8 of Internet Explorer offered many new privacy and user control features.

“The browser landscape is highly competitive,” Dean Hachamovitch, general manager of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, said in a statement.

“People will choose Internet Explorer 8 for the way it puts the services they want right at their fingertips, respects their personal choices about how they want to browse and, more than any other browsing technology, (it) puts them in control of their personal data online,” Hachamovitch said.

John Lilly, chief executive of Mozilla Corp, the organization behind the Firefox browser, said Google, which has been his non-profit organization’s biggest financial backer for several years, had recently renewed its support through 2011.

Mozilla recently introduced its own upgraded browser, Firefox 3, and has collaborated with Google on a variety of technical issues, including a system for reporting software crashes and to make software browsers more secure.

He said in a blog post that Mozilla and Google would continue to collaborate where it made sense for both organizations, but that Mozilla would also focus on its main mission of keeping the Web open and participatory by fostering its own commmunity-developed browser and other projects.

“With IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc — there’s been competition for a while now, and this increases that,” Lilly wrote in commenting on news of Google Chrome.

GOING ‘INCOGNITO’

Google confirmed that it had prematurely mailed a copy of a promotional comic book detailing plans for Chrome to a blogger. Blogoscope’s writer, Philipp Lenssen, scanned and published the 38-page comic here

Chrome organizes information into tabbed pages. Web programs can be launched in their own dedicated windows. It also offers a variety of features to make the browser more stable and secure, according to the comic book guide.

Among Chrome’s features is a special privacy mode that lets users create an “incognito” window where “nothing that occurs in that window is ever logged on your computer.” This is a read-only feature with access to one’s bookmarks of favorite sites.

Web Browsers have come a long way from the days of the first internet web browser, Mosaic and the like. The monopoly of the Microsoft-authored Internet Explorer has been decisively broken and terminated possibly, forever. Web browsers today have progressed from being a mere internet-exploring tool to being a multi-purpose, multi-pronged application that brings several advantages to the web visitor. A web browser is defined as a software application, a typical HTTP client that helps the internet visitor to interpret the HTML documents and display the content from web servers or in file systems.Today there are a variety of internet browsers available. The prominent browsers available for personal computers include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox Opera Netscape and so on. A browser is the most commonly used kind of user agent. The largest networked collection of linked documents is known as the World Wide Web.

Web browsers communicate with web servers primarily using HTTP (hyper-text transfer protocol) to fetch webpages. HTTP allows web browsers to submit information to web servers as well as fetch web pages from them. The most commonly used HTTP is HTTP/1.1. Web Pages are located by means of a URL (uniform resource locator), which is treated as an address, beginning with http: for HTTP access. Many browsers also support a variety of other URL types and their corresponding protocols, such as ftp: for FTP (file transfer protocol), gopher: for Gopher, and https: for HTTPS (an SSL encrypted version of HTTP).

The generally accepted file format for a web page is usually HTML (hyper-text markup language) and is identified in the HTTP protocol using a MIME content type. Most browsers certainly support other technology formats in addition to HTML, such as the JPEG PNG and GIF image formats, and can be extended to support more through the use of plugins. The combination of HTTP content type and URL protocol specification allows web page designers to embed images, animations, video, sound, and streaming media into a web page, or to make them accessible through the web page.

In the beginning web browsers supported only a very simple version of HTML. The rapid development of web browsers led to the development of HTML into a more complex avatars. Modern web browsers support standards-based HTML and XHTML which should display in the same way across all browsers. Web sites today are designed using WYSIWYG HTML generation programs such as Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage. There are continuous development activities in developing standards, specifically with XHTML and CSS (cascading style sheets, used for page layout). Some of the more popular browsers include additional components to support Usenet news, IRC (Internet relay chat), and e-mail. Protocols supported may include NNTP (network news transfer protocol), SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol), IMAP (Internet message access protocol), and POP (post office protocol).

Different browsers have uniqueness built in because of the very features that they provide and very functions that they support. Modern browsers and web pages tend to utilize many features and techniques that did not exist in the early days of the web. The following is a list of some of the most notable features:

- HTTP and HTTPS
- HTML, XMLand XHTML
- GIF, PNGJPEG and SVG
- Cascading Style Sheets
- JavaScript
- Digital certificates
- RSS
- Bookmarks
- Caching
- Plugins like Macromedia Flash and Quick Time.

Other features generally include:
- Autocomplete
- Tabbed browsing
- Spatial navigation
- Caret navigation
- Screen reader
- Pop-up Blocker
- Ad filtering
- Phishing

Web Browsers have today established themselves as a most user-friendly and essential technology tool for surfing the internet. Web browsers help the visitors to the ethereal world of the web to view contents from different file formats, interact with other websites, incorporate appropriate technology to view/download/upload multi-media content and streaming multi-media. Web browsers today provide functionalities like blocking of unwanted pop-up advertisements, spywares and phishing attempts. They provide the convenience of tabbed browsing and come with advanced features like auto-fill and password and download managers.

Web browsers of today are not mere messengers between client and server. They are full-fledged programs capable of using fuzzy logic to select most appropriate content and help the web visitor to browse safely and pleasurably.

Simply having a website is not enough if you want to really make an impact in the highly competitive online world. There are many things that must be taken care of. Usability visibility and unique content are factors which can really help your case. But for really improved impact and interactivity you should incorporate multimedia elements in your site. Multimedia development in a web site means the integration of multiple forms of media such mean text for visit towww.instantvideostreamer.com graphics audio photo images animation full motion video data etc. with the web site. There are number of website design tools and technologies used by web designers for interactive multimedia development. But the most commonly used are Flash Shockwave Real Media and Java. With the help of these tools multimedia developer can create dynamic multimedia presentations for your web site. Lets explain these popular multimedia tools in details

Flash

Since its introduction in 1996 Flash is the most popular way for adding multimedia elements for adding interactivity to web pages. In fact a whole website can be created by using Flash. With Flash one can create animation and other interactive multimedia components in a web page.

Flash is also used for developing rich Internet applications. This widely used multimedia tool comes preinstalled on most browsers and thus there is no need to download it. The best part about Flash is that one can compress big animation files into extremely small files that help the site to get downloaded within seconds. Overall a website looks very impressive and outstanding with Flash.

ShockWave

This was the first multimedia website design program developed by Macromedia who later on developed Flash on the basis of this program. more visit towww.htmllockdown.com To view the applications created by Shockwave in a web browser one need to get the Shockwave plugin installed.

Initially it was used by advertising agencies to create multimedia presentations and promotional CDs. However later on with the acquisition of Macromedia Adobe slowly made some more changes to the program to make it adaptable for a more diverse user base. Even though Shockwave is an excellent tool it lacks in usability and capabilities as compared to that of Flash.

RealMedia

RealMedia a multimedia container format created by RealNetworks is typically used in conjunction with RealVideo and RealAudio. It is also used for streaming content over the Internet. It is this streaming technology that makes RealMedia superior to other similar products. With the help of streaming technology a file when selected will begin playing instantly before the full file has downloaded. RealMedia is a useful tool for showing video presentations and is often more effective as compared to Shockwave.

Java

For viewing a multimedia development made in Java there is no need of any additional plugin as in the case of Flash or ShockWave. Originally developed by Sun Microsystems this full cross platform programming language is supported by most browsers. This means any multimedia development done in Java language can be viewed by anyone. One major drawback of Java is that it is slow to load.

Any company specializing in interactive multimedia development usually take help of any of these multimedia development tools for designing any appealing website.

Note that both Google’s service and PEAR::SOAP are technically still in beta, so you might encounter the odd bug from time to time. There are other SOAP client libraries available, including the PHP5 SOAP extension and NuSOAP, and while implementation details are different the basic theory is the same as presented here.

Setting up the PEAR SOAP module

Before we can start using SOAP, we had better make sure both PEAR itself and the SOAP module are available. The PEAR package manager is installed by default with PHP 4.3.0 and later, but if you are using an earlier version or it is missing on your system check out the PEAR manual for instructions.

Once you have the package manager installed, you will need to download the SOAP package. On most systems, you can just enter pear install SOAP into a console window. At least, that’s the theory. Unless there is a stable release of SOAP available, you will get the message No release with state equal to: ’stable’ found for ‘SOAP’. Try pear install SOAP-beta to get the most current version of the package at the time of writing, even though it is in beta, or tell PEAR to accept beta versions without complaint by typing pear config-set preferred_state beta.

You may also get one or more messages starting with requires package, followed by Dependencies failed. In this case, try the pear install command again but add the dependencies on the command line. For example, if PEAR complained that the Net_DIME package is missing, try using pear install Net_DIME SOAP instead.

Getting a license key

Once you have installed the SOAP module, the next step is to download the Google Web APIs developers’ kit and register to get a license key. This key allows you to make up to 1000 SOAP queries a day free of charge. Visit Google Web APIs (http://www.google.co.uk/apis/) and follow the instructions on the site.

Unzip the developers’ kit and put it in a convenient place. It only contains samples for accessing the service with .NET and Java, but most of the documentation applies equally to calling Google from PHP.

Decoding the WSDL file

In the developer’s kit main directory you will find a WSDL file called GoogleSearch.wsdl, which you can open in a text editor or XML browser. This file defines exactly what services we can call using SOAP, though the Google documentation is probably easier to read!

However, we can also see what the SOAP module makes of this file. Create a new PHP page and enter the following.

generateProxyCode();

?>

Place it somewhere on your server along with GoogleSearch.wsdl and access it through your web browser. Assuming everything is working right, you should get a lot of PHP code output. This code is the result of the SOAP_WSDL client class parsing the WSDL file and converting it into PHP functions. This tells us what functions we can call in a rather more readable form than the WSDL document, and is handy particularly if you are using a poorly documented WSDL service.

So how does the code work? Let’s go through it step by step:

1. First, we load the SOAP client file. If this gives an error, it probably means SOAP isn’t installed properly and you should read the instructions above or the PEAR manual.

2. We then create an instance of the SOAP_WSDL class, based on the GoogleSearch.wsdl file. This is one of the main classes we are going to use throughout this tutorial: it parses the WSDL file and represents it as PHP.

3. Finally, we output the proxy code as plain text. (As you can see from the output, in SOAP the proxy is a class that represents the WSDL calls available as PHP functions.)

Spell-checking with Google

If you’ve been using Google for a while (and type as erratically as me), you have probably noticed the “Did you mean…” line that appears if you misspell a word in a search. Thanks to the Google web service, we can add this spelling checker to our PHP applications (though to be honest, it would probably be better to use pspell in an actual application). Enter the following code, with your own license key as the first string.

gettProxy();
echo $googleProxy->doSpellingSuggestion($key, ‘diktionary’);

?>

Simple, isn’t it? The first line is trivial and the next two are the same as the previous example. The fourth line creates the proxy object based on the code we looked at earlier, so we can make SOAP requests by calling its methods. Finally, we call doSpellingSuggestion and output the result. Access this page in your web browser, and you should see the word ‘dictionary’ on its own.

You might see ‘Object’ instead, in which case SOAP has encountered a problem and returned a SOAP_Fault object. We will look into dealing with these faults sometime in the future, but for now check if you have entered your license key correctly and not managed to exhaust your 1000 query per day limit (!).

To use Outlook as an email program, you need to configure it to work with one or more email accounts. The best option for that is to use a free Google Gmail account. In case you haven’t encountered it yet, Gmail is a Web-based email service available through Google. If you have a Gmail account (or get one, which only takes a few minutes), you can use it to connect Gmail and Outlook. Once you have that connection set up properly, people can email you at your Gmail address, and you can read it in Outlook. Going the other way, you can use Outlook to reply to your Gmail messages, or compose new messages that get sent using the Gmail account.

Why use Gmail? There are certainly lots of other free email accounts out there, like Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail. But connecting them to Outlook for free is another story. Some of the email accounts you can get for free are set up so you can view them using your Web browser, but they don’t allow you to connect to them with programs like Outlook. Others (Yahoo! Mail & Hotmail, for example) allow you to connect to them with Outlook, but they charge you a fee for the privilege. With those services, the free versions of the email account need to be upgraded to a paying version to enable the connection. There’s only a small number of Web-based email accounts that allow you to connect Outlook for free. Google’s Gmail is the biggest and best-known of this elite group.

With Gmail, you get a massive amount of space (measured in Gb) of mail storage right on Google’s servers. It also provides powerful search capabilities when you search your mail through the web interface (basically doing a Google search on your own email). Google supports the Gmail service with advertising, but you only see the ads when you view your Gmail account using your Web browser, not when you use Outlook. Google’s Gmail is clearly the free email service you want to use to connect to Outlook.

The steps required to make the Gmail Outlook connection are moderately difficult, but most people can make the connection on their own especially if they have access to someone more experienced should they get stuck. If you want to try setting up a Gmail account & connecting it to Outlook 2007, the instructions are posted here.

The Mobile Web Browser Market 2009-2014: Challenges and opportunities in the Web 2.0, iPhone and Google Era

Within a short timeframe, the iPhone series of devices has helped fuel mobile web adoption in North America and Europe unlike any device before. In the seven years prior to the launch, the paucity of user-friendly mobile web-focused devices proved a major obstacle to optimal growth in users and traffic.( <a target="_blank" rel="external nofollow" target=”_blank” href=”http://www.bharatbook.com/Market-Research-Reports/The-Mobile-Web-Browser-Market-2009-2014-Challenges-and-opportunities-in-the-Web-20-iPhone-and-Google-Era.html”>http://www.bharatbook.com/Market-Research-Reports/The-Mobile-Web-Browser-Market-2009-2014-Challenges-and-opportunities-in-the-Web-20-iPhone-and-Google-Era.html )

Thanks to innovative multi-touch gesture user interfaces, faster processing and large screens, users are now more aware of the benefits of web access with mobility. The introduction of multi-touch user interfaces been pivotal in finally realising the possibility and benefit of mobile browsing to a wide audience, particularly in developed markets. Supported by increasing bandwidth in mobile networks, improved user experience has encouraged uptake, particularly as an extension of any given user’s online desktop experience, evidenced by the widespread adoption of mobile versions of leading social networking sites. This is illustrated by Apple through the iPhone, whose users in the UK are five times more likely to browse the web than owners of other mobile phones.

Companies such as Google, Apple and Palm are harbouring ambitions to port the next stage in the internet roadmap, HTML 5, onto the mobile platform, possibly leading to video played within the mobile browser without the need for additional rich internet application (RIA) plugins such as Flash and Silverlight. The RIA framework developers themselves, such as Adobe and Microsoft, are working towards full desktop versions onto mobile handsets for 2010. Based on analysis of the position of key participants across the value chain, including operators, media agencies, software application providers, access providers, marketing specialists and trade association representatives, this 125+ page report analyses the market drivers and barriers affecting mobile web browsers and applications. It discusses the main market trends and charts the market evolution in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific including the Middle East.

Firstly what is flash? Well Flash refers to both the Macromedia Flash Player and to a multimedia authoring program used to create content it (such as games and movies). The Flash Player is a client application available in most web browsers. It features support for vector and raster graphics, a scripting language called ActionScript and bidirectional streaming of audio and video.

Macromedia Flash is the integrated development environment (IDE) and Flash Player is the virtual machine used to run the Flash files, but nowadays these terms have become mixed: “Flash” can mean either the authoring environment, the player, or the application files.

Since its introduction in 1996, Flash technology has become a very popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages. Flash can be used to create fantastic animations; to design web-page elements and also to add video to web sites. Websites made with flash can be much more interactive and flashier (pardon the pun) than site made with only html.

The Flash files, or “flash movies”, usually have a .swf file extension and may appear as an element of a web page or to be “played” in the standalone Flash Player.

Due to wide usage of Flash in web advertisements and the extra time it takes to load these pages, tools have emerged for blocking Flash content in some or all web sites, or temporarily or permanently turning Flash Player off, such as FlashBlock and Adblock for the Mozilla Firefox browser.

If Flash has been disabled in a web browser then users may be unable to access some Flash-dependent websites, or may experience a degraded user interface.

Using Flash content stores the content of the web page in a binary file and since Flash uses animations, the design of the page is not static. These factors make Flash-based content unsuitable for indexing by search engines.

‘Misuse’ of Flash software has led to the creation of a new industry term “Flashterbation,” where the technology is used in a way that lacks customer focus.

The goal of most web designers is to create an attractive, easily accessible and functional website that will convince the visitor to do something. Creating such a website requires good graphic design, easy and intuitive site navigation, logical site layout and good web copy. The following suggestions are general web design guidelines.

Web Content

You want the visitor to see you as a knowledgeable information source and/or a reputable business. Poor grammar and spelling will immediately reduce your credibility. Remember that people use the internet to find information. For more details visit to <a rel="external nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.javascript-magic.com” target=”_blank”>www.javascript-magic.com .Whether you are selling your own product or recommending someone else’s products, you must first provide valuable information to the visitor or they will click away and find a website that gives them what they what they want.

Cross Browser Compatibility

There are at least a hundred different browsers in use. You must design your website to work properly in the most widely used browsers. To do that you may not be able to use all of the really great special effects that are available because they may not be supported in most browsers.

Even though most web browsers are free, people do not necessary bother to upgrade to the latest versions. The average surfer may not know how to upgrade their browser or have the attitude, “If it works, don’t fix it.” Remember your visitor may have a PC, a MAC, a Linux box, a PDA or a cell phone and they all use different browsers.

Good web design requires your web pages to work in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, Opera and Safari at a minimum. Validating your HTML code will help but the final test is to view your website in different browsers running on different platforms.

Graphics and Photos

Web surfers are impatient and studies show that most people will click away if a webpage takes longer than 10 seconds to load. Always optimize your photos and other graphic files to have as small a size as possible without sacrificing picture quality.

Always use the height and width attributes on the picture so the rest of the page can load while the graphic files is downloading. Use the ALT HTML tag so people with graphics turned off and those using hand held devices know what the picture is supposed to be.

Background Colors

If you use anything other than white behind text, be sure to specify link colors otherwise the user’s browser defaults will determine what color the links are which can make them unreadable.

Multimedia

Multimedia is composed of flash movies, video clips, audio clips and background music. Always use streaming media because it reduces download time. Make sure the visitor can stop and start multimedia files or in the case of flash introductions, skip them if they want. That way people with slow connections or devices that don’t support multimedia can ignore them. To know more logon to www.google-friendly-page.com .Also, put any important information presented in multimedia in text as well so the visitor has access to that information without using multimedia. If a plug-in is needed to use the multimedia, always provide a link to it so the user can install it. Finally, always remember the 10-second rule for site loading when deciding to use multimedia.

Site Navigation

Site navigation should be simple and intuitive. Studies have shown if a visitor cannot access the information they want within three clicks, they will leave the site. This is called the 3-click rule. Every area of your website should be reachable within three clicks from anywhere else on the site. If you use anything other than simple text links, make sure to test your navigation in all the major browsers.

Links

Periodically test all site links to be certain that they are valid. Nothing chases a visitor off faster than broken links. There are several free online services that will periodically check your links.

Frames

Avoid using frames, since they make it difficult to bookmark individual pages on your web site and you want people to bookmark pages so they can come back.

Summary

Good Web design is a combination of common sense and good planning. Your site should be attractive and easy to use and most importantly provide the user with the information or services they want.

HTTP is one of the most successful and widely used protocols on the Internet today. It is application-layer protocol used to transmit and receive hypertext pages. HTTP allows a client usually a web browser to send a simple request and receive response back from the server. Whenever you write a URL in address bar of you browser, your browser firstly contacts the web server, web server locates the requested page and sends the appropriate response. These requests and responses are issued in HTTP.

Each HTTP cycle has following steps:

Connection

The connection is established between a web browser and a web server. The connection is established via TCP/IP protocols over particular port generally port 80 is used. However, HTTP is not used to establish connection, it only defines the rules that specify how they communicate.

Request

The web browser sends a request to server, specifying the resource to retrieve. HTTP defines the set of rules for sending the request. Every HTTP request consists of Request-Line, Request-Headers and Message-Body. Sample HTTP request is shown below.

GET /index.htm HTTP/1.1

HOST: www.google.com

Accept: text/html, text/plain

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0

Each HTTP request has request line and consists of request methods, URI, and HTTP version. After Request-Line, Request-Header starts and providing the characteristics associated with data returned.

Response

It is the response send by the web server to client. The server firstly locates the requested document and sends the appropriate response. However there is a format specified by HTTP to send the response from server. Every HTTP response consists of Status-Line, Response-Headers and Message-Body. Sample HTTP response is shown below.

HTTP/1.1 200 OK

Server: Apache/1.3.3.7

Date: Mon, 23 May 2005 22:38:34 GMT

Accept-Ranges: bytes

Content-Type: text/html

Content-Length: 512

Last-Modified: Tue, 18 Jan 2007 10:12:30 GMT

Connection: close

The first line of the every HTTP response is called the Status-Line and consists of numeric status code returned along with reason phrase. It is the response returned associated with the HTTP request. After Status-Line, Response-Header starts and providing the characteristics associated with data returned.

Close

Finally connection is closed. After each request and response cycle the connection is closed. Each time the web browser makes request, new connection is established. There is no account for the previous requested resource on web server or I can say that there is no session maintained. This makes HTTP a stateless protocol.
